Privacy
Pulse is a private beta and uses account-linked product analytics to understand whether the beta works.
Authentication and access
Pulse uses one-time email sign-in links and revocable server-side sessions. Authentication email is transactional and does not enroll you in marketing email.
What Pulse may record
- Your beta tester account: name, email address, LinkedIn profile URL, signup date and access status.
- A browser and session identifier used to connect product activity to your tester account.
- Page paths, searches, profile opens, outbound link clicks, and feature interactions.
- Feedback you choose to submit, including an email address only if you provide one.
Browser-local data
Saved jobs, followed companies, notes, career preferences, and similar convenience state are stored in your browser unless a feature explicitly says otherwise.
What Pulse does not need for basic browsing
Pulse does not require your contacts, private email inbox, exact device location, or social account credentials to browse the public beta.
Beta analytics
Analytics are used to improve search quality, identify broken paths, measure engaged time by product area, understand where users get stuck, and learn whether beta testers return. They are not used to sell advertising placement inside Pulse. Detailed beta events are intended for product improvement and access administration.
Account deletion
You may request account deletion. Deletion revokes active sessions, invalidates unused sign-in links, removes profile identity from the active account record, and retains only minimal operational records needed for security and delivery integrity.
